Saints Row is an open-world action-adventure video game series developed by Volition and published by THQ and Deep Silver. The series began in 2006 with the release of the first Saints Row game, which was set in the fictional city of Stilwater and followed the player's character as they rose through the ranks of a street gang called the Third Street Saints.
The series is known for its open-world gameplay, over-the-top action, and comedic tone. The later games in the series expanded on the open-world formula, adding new features such as co-op multiplayer, vehicles, and weapons. The series also received several spin-off games and expansion packs, such as Saints Row: Gat Out of Hell and Saints Row IV: Re-Elected.
The latest game of the series is "Saints Row IV: Re-Elected" which was released on January 20, 2015 and later in 2021 was re-released as a remastered version called "Saints Row IV: Re-Elected and Gat Out of Hell" for next-gen consoles.
