The Nintendo Switch is a hybrid home/handheld video game console developed and produced by Nintendo. It was released worldwide in March 2017. It is a hybrid console which means it can be used as both a home console, connected to a television and played with controllers, or as a handheld device that can be taken on the go, with controllers attached to the sides or detached and used wirelessly.
The Switch has been very successful since its launch, it has a wide range of games that appeal to all ages, from classic franchises such as Mario, Zelda and Pokémon to new IPs like Animal Crossing and Splatoon, it also has a strong third party support. Its portability feature is also a big plus, it allows players to play games both at home and on the go, which is a unique feature that no other consoles have.
